WE HELP people struggling to make ends meet
Our history
The People’s Kitchen Belfast began life as St Patrick’s Soup Kitchen, in April 2017. The Brainchild of Paul McCusker, long time advocate for the homeless, and voice for the marginalised. It started quite inauspiciously, serving warm drinks and sandwiches from a tea trolley in a doorway. Seeking to help those experiencing homelessness and addiction problems. The soup kitchen grew as the need in the City was increasing and we had to increase the service to 7 days a week.
What we do
- Homeless outreach
- Hot food and drinks
- Food parcels
- Homeless connection hub at Writers Square every friday and saturday nights 7pm and 9pm
With your help, we can do more. Donate now…
Last year, supporters like you meant our organisation could help and provide support to ….. People in need of our services.
Our outreach workers could be there for people worried about spending winter on the streets, helping them on the path to a home and a brighter future. And thanks to you, we continue to lobby the government to build more affordable housing – tackling one of the root causes of homelessness.
Donations won’t be restricted to any single project but will be used by The People’s Kitchen Belfast wherever they’re most needed in our fight to end homelessness and poverty.
